Fe-Max Iron Tonic liquid aids in the production and transport of red blood cells for oxygenation of body tissues.

Dose:
Adults:5 mL with water or juice 3 times daily.

No Added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanut, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, egg, sesame seeds or artificial colours.
Vegan friendly.
Warning:
- Contains potassium sorbate.
- Not for the treatment of iron deficiency conditions.
- Vitamin and mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet.
- Contraindicated in haemochromatosis, haemosiderosis or iron-loading anaemias (thalassaemia, sideroblastic anaemia).
- Due to Licorice: caution is advised in those taking thiazide or loop diuretics and those with elevated liver enzymes taking immunosuppressives; contraindicated in hypertension and oedema.
- Caution during pregnancy, long-term use is not recommended.
- If taking levodopa, levothyroxine, methyldopa, penicilamine, quinolones, tetracyclines, bisphosphonates, and cholestyramine, separate doses by at least two hours.
- Allopurinol, can increase liver storage of iron and should not be used in conjunction with iron supplements.
- Not recommended in children under 6 years of age.
- Monitor patients taking thyroxine.
- Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
- If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice.
