MediHerb Sinus Forte 60 Tab

Sinus Forte combines the herbs Eyebright, Golden Rod, Echinacea purpurearoot, Golden Seal and Cayenne. These five powerful herbs contribute iridoid glycosides (especially aucubin), saponins, flavonoids, diterpenoid lactones, caffeic acid derivatives (especially cichoric acid), alkylamides, alkaloids (especially hydrastine and berberine), pungent principles (particularly capsaicin), carotenoids and other compounds. These herbs and the compounds within them work together to:

Ingredients:

Calcium phosphate dibasic, Cellulose, Hypromellose, Magnesium stearate, Maltodextrin, SilicaSodium starch glycolate.

No added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, egg, sesame seeds, artificial sweeteners, colours or flavours.

Dose:

Adult takes 1 tablet 3 to 4 times daily Children 6-12 years: 1 tablet 1 to 2 times daily.

Warning:

1. Not to be used in children under two years of age without medical advice
2. Use caution during pregnancy
3. The risk of allergic reaction to Echinacea is very small, especially if preparations of the root are used since these are free of pollens.
4. Echinacea is contraindicated for long-term use in patients taking immunosuppressant medication (e.g. transplant patients) - short-term therapy only is suggested in this instance.
5. Caution is advised in patients receiving midazolam by injection
6. Caution in those taking theophylline as Cayenne may increase its absorption and bioavailability
7. Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
8. If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice.
