Vitamin D Spray helps the absorption of calcium into bones and teeth and supports a healthy immune system.
Interaction:
- Phenytoin and valproate induce catabolism of vitamin D through liver induction.
- Prolonged use of phenytoin and valproate is associated with an increased risk of developing rickets and osteomalacia.
- Supplemental vitamin D is advised in patients taking phenytoin and valproate.
- It is recommended to test vitamin D serum levels to guide dosage.

Warning:
- Cautioned with calcium channel blockers as vitamin D supplementation may reduce the effectiveness of these drugs
- Vitamin and mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet
- Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
- Contains trace amounts of sulphur dioxide
